BCBCC Hosts Second Annual Holiday Market and Gullah Rice Cookoff


Part of the Sea Island Gullah Christmas Celebration Weekend
 

WHAT: The Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce (BCBCC) invites the community to a weekend filled with holiday cheer, Gullah Geechee heritage, and family fun during Sea Island's Gullah Christmas Celebration.
 

The festivities include the Gullah Rice Cookoff, where participants prepare dishes at the Chamber and move to the waterfront for judging, and our Second Annual Holiday Market, featuring local vendors, food trucks, a Christmas Tree Raffle, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and live holiday spirit right on Bladen Street.

📅 Holiday Market: Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 1–6 p.m.
📍 Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce, 711 Bladen Street

Highlights Include:

  • Visits and photo ops with Santa & Mrs. Claus

  • Food trucks and local vendors starting at 1 p.m.

  • Handmade crafts & holiday gifts from local artisans

  • Prime parade viewing on Bladen Street during the Christmas Parade

Hosted by the Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with downtown Beaufort partners, the Gullah Rice Festival, and the Gullah Traveling Theater.

Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce Announces Ribbon Cutting for One More Day Insurance Brokerage

WHAT: The Beaufort County Black Chamber of Commerce (BCBCC) will host a
ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome One More Day Insurance Brokerage, a
full-service life insurance and estate planning firm founded by Terence Hardy.
