ABOUT US
Mission Statement
The BCBCC Center for Culture and Commerce works to advance economic empowerment and community revitalization across Beaufort County and surrounding areas. We support entrepreneurship, affordable housing, and neighborhood development while expanding access to business, employment, and educational opportunities—especially for historically marginalized communities.
We recognize culture and the arts as the heartbeat of our communities, rooted in everyday people, traditions, and creative expression. By supporting artists, culture bearers, and small businesses, we invest in community knowledge, creativity, and self-determination. Through arts and culture, we create pathways for economic opportunity, workforce development, and neighborhood revitalization—helping residents build livelihoods, preserve cultural identity, and shape growth that reflects community values.
