Getting Here

View our general layout and note the expanse of Atlantic Ocean and rivers surrounding our hundreds of small islands. The major inhabited islands are connected by bridge. Most of our visitors drive to Beaufort County, and transportation is needed for exploring the entire area. It's easily accessible via U.S. 17 which is a major north-south route along the east coast and a short drive from I 95.

The Savannah and the Charleston airports both are an hour or less away from Beaufort County.
